Nashville Yards landed a new office tenant.
Miami-based coworking concept Ampersand Studios is taking over half a floor in the CAA office building at Nashville Yards, according to a spokesperson for Ampersand.
The location will be Ampersand Studios’ second in Nashville, following the opening of its Music Row location in 2023.
Ampersand Studios is opening a 25,680-square-foot coworking location on the fifth floor of the Nashville Yards office building. The space will feature flexible workspaces, as well as a multi-use production studio, according to the spokesperson.
“Expanding on the success at our Music Row location, we’re excited to add to the membership offerings for our creative community,” Matthew Giles, principal and founder of Ampersand Studios, said in an emailed statement to the Business Journal.
Ampersand Studios is the second coworking concept to find a home in Nashville Yards. New York-based Industrious recently opened a 30,000-square-foot space in the new Pinnacle tower.
Ampersand Studios will be located in the development’s 11-story office building which is adjacent to The Pinnacle music venue.
The coworking company will be joining Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which anchors the building with a 75,000-square-foot space, as well as Amazon, which recently announced it was leasing an entire floor in the building.
Ampersand Studios, a coworking concept catered towards the creative industries, made its Nashville debut in 2023 with a location at 1030 16th Ave. S.
The coworking brand started in Miami, opening in a former industrial warehouse in 2018. The Nashville Yards location will be Ampersand Studios’ third location across the country, two of which in Music City.
Nashville Yards, by Southwest Value Partners, is quickly become an entertainment and creative destination in downtown Nashville. In February, The Pinnacle opened, a 4,500-capacity venue that anchors the 19-acre development.
Later this year, the $1 billion development will welcome Fogo de Chão, Culaccino and Ocean Prime, among other restaurants.
