Colorado-based national chain will take space at CAA office tower, eyes summer opening

As Floyd’s 99 Barbershop recognizes the opening of its first Tennessee location in Nolensville, there are plans for a second Music City-area location in Nashville Yards.

According to Metro records, owners of Floyd’s have filed a permit to open a  location at 955 Church St. in Nashville Yards.

Floyd’s will be located in the CAA office building, facing Church Street (adjacent to FedEx), and is expected to open this summer.

The cost to get operational and terms of the lease with Southwest Value Partners, the master developer of Nashville Yards, are not being disclosed.

Franchisees Angela Williams and Chandler Williams also plan to open a third Middle Tennessee-area Floyd’s in 2027. They have announced a location.

Founded in 1999 and based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, Floyd’s 99 Barbershop operates shops via both company ownership and franchisees. The company’s linkedin.com page notes about 138 locations in 17 states.

The Floyd’s website notes franchisees will have an initial estimated investment starting at $399,500, with the average franchise generating $980,000 in annual revenue.

The Williamses are entrepreneurs and U.S. Army veterans. Chandler Williams is a former Black Hawk pilot, and Angela Williams currently serves in the Army Reserves.

“Floyd’s 99 is about more than great haircuts — it’s about culture, connection, creativity and community,” Angela Williams said.

“Nashville Yards is the ideal home for our next location, and we are excited to be part of a project that’s helping shape the future of downtown Nashville.”

Floyd’s offers haircuts and grooming services “in a vibrant, art-filled environment featuring local artists, curated music, and an inclusive community feel,” according to the company.

In January, Floyd’s announced the opening of the Nolensville shop, to operate at 7344 Nolensville Road.
